The new catalogs are here!  As I've written before, things have been out-of-whack around here, so I've had to set stamping aside.  I haven't been in my Studio in ages (think cobwebs) and to be honest, I haven't even placed my Demonstrator Sneak Peek order yet! I hope that can happen today and that I can get back to regular creating and posting *soon*! Happy New Year!

Host Set Note Card for Challenges!

I'm back! April was a fantastically busy month for my family with lots of lovely things happening, but I have just stolen a little time in the Studio! I only got one project completed so far, but here's what we've got for today.

I'm entering this project in the Mojo Monday MOJO395 and Colour Me Card CMCC69 Challenges.

I used the retiring Hello, There host set and 2013-15 In Color, Coastal Cabana, along with Real Red and Cherry cobbler.  The Burlap Ribbon and Cotton Ribbon add a bit of texture to the project. The Baker's Twine was just what I needed to finish the flag.

Since the 2014-15 Annual Catalog is in its final month (and things are selling out!), I'll be highlighting retiring items throughout the month.  Click {HERE} to read more about the retiring catalog,

Happy New Year! Once things calmed down from the holidays (and we got over the yuck that was going around), I got to have some fun in the Studio.  Stay tuned for peeks at that!

If You've Been Tossing around the Idea...

Have you ever considered joining in the fun and creativity as a Stampin' Up! demonstrator?  

I started as a new mom, home with my sweet baby, missing my fifth graders and wanting a little creative time for myself. Thirteen (!) years later, I have

• had two more children (one by birth and another by adoption), 

• moved to a new city, 

• helped my husband start his own business and 

• returned to the elementary classroom part time. 

And I still stamp. Happily. 

In that time, I've 

• had countless encounters with generous and like-minded creatives, 

• made some of the best friends I'll ever know, 

• traveled to regional and national conferences that informed and *inspired* me, 

• had some lovely "Me" time both as a crafter holed up in my Studio and as a "teacher" among other grown-ups, 

• added to an embarrassingly vast array of supplies 

• and actually made a little $$ along the way!

I bring this up today only because we recelntly found out that tomorrow is the registration date for a Seattle event (in a movie theatre!) in celebration of our new 2014-15 Annual Catalog's upcoming release. The only way to attend is to be a demonstrator.  

If you've been giving this idea some thought, I thought I'd mention the catalog reveal so that you'd be further informed (you know how I *despise* pressure).  It is also a good time to consider this, as Sale-A-Bration gives you an additional $25 in merchandise for your Starter Kit (SAB ends March 31).  Finally, if you become a demonstrator now, Stampin' Up! will pay the nearly $300 registration fee for Convention. You just cover your own hotel, meals and travel. 

Some people become demonstrators simply to purchase the Starter Kit and its discounted merchandise for a great deal ($99!). Others join to add to their hobby supplies. Still others become demonstrators with the plan to build a long-term business. There's a place for everyone in Stampin' Up!

Stampin' Up! Retiring Products Lists are *Here*!

Every year at this time, Stampin' Up! releases the lists of stamp sets and other products that will not be available when the new catalog debuts.  Those lists are here today and are available by clicking on the correlating links.

• The Retiring Stamps are available until June 3 at 10:50 PM PDT.  

• The Retiring Accessories are only available while supplies last.  Each day, Stampin' Up! will update us about what has sold out.  Especially with the latest Color Refresh, if you've got a favorite color making its final curtain call, I'd suggest ordering it now.

Stampin' Up! Retired Accessories List is here!

The Retired Accessories List is now available {here}!  You know I hate to say it, but ORDER NOW -- SUPPLIES ARE LIMITED.  While you have until May 31 to order Retired Stamps, the Accessories fly off the warehouse shelves and once the stock is depleted, it is unavailable.  If a favorite is retiring (especially the 2010-2012 In Colors), order it now!

What surprised me most from the Retired Accessories List?  

1. Not all of the Stampin' Write Markers can be purchased individually in the new catalog.
2. 12 x 12 Textured Card Stock will no longer be available.
3. 12 x 12" Smooth Card Stock will be available in a limited number of individual colors and color families.
4. Grosgrain ribbon will no longer be offered (and you know how I *love* my grosgrain)!
5. Craft ink will only be available in black and white (no more Color Collections in Craft ink).

I'm formulating my order now, as there a few favorite items I don't want to miss out on.  If you're local and want to piggyback on my order, please let me know.

Last Chance Lists Are Here!

June 1 is upon us and so is your last opportunity to scoop up stamp sets, accessories and Definitely Decorative items which will not be available in the new 2011 -- 2012 Idea Book and Catalog, available in July.

**Accessories and the Definitely Decorative items will be available as supplies last, so if there's something that is on your list, please don't hesitate to order it.**

The second link is for accessories, which include ribbon, Designer Series Paper, tools, etc. Finally, while Stampin' Up! will continue to offer the Definitely Decorative vinyl line, it is paring it down, so these items will only be available until the supply runs out.

It's that special time in my studio when I tidy up from my Christmas projects, take inventory of what needs restocking and then PLACE MY SALE-A-BRATION order! **YIPPEE!!**
