{Sale-a-Bration 2013} has begun!

It's here, it's here, it's here!  The annual promotion which gives customers (and hostesses!) gifts with each $50 purchase is upon us.  From now until March 22, with every $50 merchandise purchase, you can earn exclusive Sale-a-Bration *freebies* like stamp sets, ribbon and buttons, Designer Series Paper, a Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, a punch, or select items from the Annual Catalog!

This is the time of year I stock up on ink refills, card stock, ribbon and other consumables because the freebies are THAT good.  I purchase from the Annual and Spring Catalogs, of course, but also from the My Digital Studio content and the Clearance Rack, as well!

In addition to the $50 freebies, there are gifts for hostesses, too.  Receive free Glimmer Paper for a $150 workshop and the adorable Sycamore Street Hostess Bundle for free if your workshop's merchandise total is $400!  Place an order by yourself or gather friends for a workshop (in-person or virtually for a catalog party)!

You can order by clicking HERE or using the {Shop} button on the left (please remember to designate me as your demonstrator).  You are always most welcome to email or phone me if you'd like assistance or for me to place your order.  I've got a special Studio-Sara Shoppers Benefit Plan, so shopping through me has its rewards!

I've already placed my first Sale-a-Bration order and here are the first three {freebies} I picked:

I love a versatile punch and this one coordinates not only with a Sale-a-Bration stamp set, but one in the Spring Catalog, too.  Whether you're using it with a stamped image or with DSP or card stock alone, it makes a darling accent!

This Vine Street TIEF is *awesome*, no matter which way you face the embossed image (the "right" side or the "negative" side if you flip it).  Stay tuned for A LOT more projects with this baby...

*LOVE* the Sale-a-Bration DSP every year; *HATE* that it's only available for a short time.  This is the one item I tend to stockpile and hoard.  ;)

Once again, please give me a shout if you're in need of a hard copy of either the Sale-a-Bration catalog or the 2013 Spring Catalog.  Operators are standing by (read: me)...

London Fog = Time in the {Studio}

Those of us here in the PNW are finding ourselves enveloped in a bitter cold fog of late, so I've cozied up in the Studio this weekend.  Here's what I came up with:

This sweet stamp set, called Bloomin' Marvelous, will be available for free tomorrow, January 22, as part of the Sale-a-Bration promotion.  Earn it with a $50 merchandise purchase!

The cute scallop and stitching is a Textured Impressions Embossing Folder called Needlepoint Border.

The sweet scallop punch used to make these flowers can be found in the Spring Catalog (129404):

The Vine Street Textured Impressions Embossing Folder here is a freebie you can earn with a $50 merchandise order, as is the stamp (part of the aforementioned Bloomin' Marvelous set):

The fun starts tomorrow with Sale-a-Bration.  If you need a hard copy of the catalog (or the Spring Catalog or Annual Catalog), please notify me and I'll mail one to you toute suite.

It's so easy to get started. Simply sign up for the programby visiting and click Get it.

If you are my customer and to receive the Studio-Sara Members-Only Benefits, select me, {SARA SMEBY}, as your demonstrator (I promise you won't be ambushed with anything else -- I just want to set you up with some bennies).

Every month a new, surprise project kit arrives at your doorstep. Just think of the anticipation of creating a fun project to pin, showoff, and share with your friends and family -- every month!

Of course, you'll want to know more. So here's the nitty gritty:
  • Each month we send you a unique, surprise kit with a project-cards, journals, décor, and more! (We've even color-coordinated, measured, and cut everything for you!)
  • Each kit includes stamps, ink, paper, and accessories-everything but adhesive.
  • Each kit gives you and your customer a 30-minute creativity escape.
  • We will ship your Paper Pumpkin on or around the 15th of the month.
  • You need to sign up for a kit by the 10th of the month to get that month's kit. If you sign up on the 11th of the month, your first kit will come the next month. (Let's say you sign up on May 10th, we'll send your kit around May 15th. If you sign up on May 11th, we'll send your first kit around June 15th.)

Stampin' Studio Update

I'm loving the Sale-a-Bration goodies I've gotten so far.  The set used in this card is one of them:

And another Sale-a-Bration freebie (the Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, AKA "TIEF"):

This was a card made for a runway-inspired challenge (Runway Inspired).  I don't know much about fashion, but this blog makes it so fun to tie it into cards!

A birthday card for a dear friend:

This card was a simple and easy one to make, based upon the Freshly Made Sketches challenge for this week:

I'll be back this week with more details and maybe even a video!

This Weekend's Projects and a {Photo Tent}!

Hello, Studio Visitors!  I'm super-excited about showing you my projects this week because I got a photo tent to use for the picture-taking!  I'm usually out in the wind and rain (I'm in the Pacific Northwest), trying to snap a shot before the wind blows my card over or before the rain gets on it (the outside light is so much better than what I can get inside or with my flash).

I'm thrilled with how brightly the colors pop now!  Enjoy...
