{Watercolor} Hexagon Notecards

Today's projects were created for a couple of challenges.  They were inspired by the Runway Inspired Challenge, RIC63, below:

The first project was entered in the Mojo Monday Challenge, MOJO352.

And here's another...

  • Spritzing the watercolor paper with clean water first makes it ready to receive the colors from the ink pads.
  • Refer to this video for tips on using the Hexagon Hive Thinlit:

  • Hide the adhesive on the vellum piece behind the other layers.  It's hard to hide adhesive with vellum, so you have to be tricky...

Starting today, customers may order the following color sets of Blendabilities as of today:
The following inks and Color Lifter are also available:
Here's a helpful techniques video from the experts at Stampin' Up!:

There are other videos that Stampin' Up! has produced in which a project is completed and the "expert" walks you through his/her process.

Here's what I learned from Angie:
  • Go from the lightest to darkest marker in the color set.
  • Use a light touch with the marker.

From Teri, I learned that she:
  • Fully color one petal or area at a time.
  • Start with the lightest marker and then add the darkest to what would be the shaded area. Use the medium marker to blend them.
