So my family went on what my dad calls his "Bucket List Trip" a couple of weeks ago. We spent the week in my dad's time share on Maui with him and his wife and my sister and her family. What a lovely trip. It was my first time to Maui and let me just say that now I get it...
Here's what you get treated to if you visit between the months of December and March. Everywhere. They're not feeding when they do this (they don't eat in Maui at all, just mate and give birth). It could be Pure. Joy. Scientists don't know. Males act in ways to attract females and ward off competition, but moms and babies breach like this guy and we don't know why. I like to think it's a celebration.
These pictures were not one breach, but a series of several, by the same, sweet, generous male ("generous" because his repetition gave me the chance to get a hang of taking action shots while delirious).
As a result of being gone a week with three school-aged children and a busy husband, I've been doing a lot of laundry and "re-entry" business. The good news is, I was able to sneak away for a few projects.
This card was created using the fun sketch at Retro Sketches (RS153). I was also inspired by the Runway Inspired Challenge (RIC78), DKNY.
The good news is that the What's Up? punch is a {Weekly Deal}! Click {HERE} to shop all of the deals!
Aloha!
