Whew! Busy day! First, I want to show you what the Seattle area's soggy weekend inspired me to make:
With my hubby gone fishin' with his brother and parents and nonstop rain since Thursday, I was aching for some sun (which we finally got on Monday afternoon). The kids had cabin fever, I had claustrophobia and I knew just what to do for the 365 Sketchy Sunday sketch challenge for Sunday, May 23.
I just love the simple elegance of the Medallion stamp. I laid it face-up on my desk and inked the inside with Summer Sun (a retiring color). Next, I applied the ink pad to the outer "rays" using Ruby Red (another retiree). By cutting my design in fourths, I now have enough of this quick and simple design to make four cards!
**Stamper beware: Thoroughly clean this baby before inking again (esp. with a lighter color, such as Summer Sun).**
My Big Shot and Naturally Serif die helped me create the words (and my Cricut cut out the brackets to fit the letters). All of the pieces are mounted on Crumb Cake (formerly known as "Kraft").
Now on to big doings at Stampin' Up! First, it's the Last Chance Lists... Here's the link to the stamp set list: http://204.228.150.61/2010lastchancelist/LastChanceStamps_0510_US.pdf
These stamps will be available until June 30.
As for the accessories, they're only available *while supplies last*. If there's something you can't live without, order it now, before it disappears... Here's the list, which includes retiring colors:

Finally, if you've got questions about Stampin' Up!'s Color Renovation, here are the deets: http://204.228.150.61/color_revamp2010/USENG/Fond_Farewell_Colors_US_0310.pdf

While you know I hate pressure, I feel obligated to warn you that Stampin' Up! has had some unforeseen demand for its retiring colors. As it stands now, Sage Shadow card stock (in packages of 8 1/2 X 11 and 12 x 12) has sold out. I'm not sure if it's available in assortments, but that might be your only way to secure some. The same is true for Close to Cocoa in the 8 1/2 x 11-inch package. If you've got an absolute favorite that has found its way to its retirement, please don't hesitate to order it (be it card stock, ink or embellishments). Stampin' Up! isn't guaranteeing its stock in any of the accessories (or colors) on the Last Chance List.
Phew! Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have questions. The Summer Mini is out and I've got a hard copy that I can send you. Contact me if you need one! Remember; I pride myself on no-pressure service!

Sara, this is really a cute, cute card! Hopefully yall are getting a little more sun now. We actually have more than we really need - so maybe I need to send some to you! LOL. Great card.
Woohoo - you're back again! I was getting worried that you had stopped stamping (!!!!!!)
Love your Medallion. Here's hoping that the sun comes out and stays out in your neck of the woods. In NC it is a little too much sometimes!
Very pretty Sara, really like what you did with the medallion stamp.
Fun card- love your colors- great layout too!
I never really liked the Medallion stamp, but I think you may have changed my mind with this amazing card. I really like how you used this stamp here, just perfect!
