Sale-A-Bration Time...

Sale-A-Bration has begun and for me, it means a calendar brimming with workshops for hostesses who earn "many bennies," getting inspired for the coming of spring and clearing out my studio and taking inventory.

As I prep for my workshops, I'll share some of our projects. I offer a variety of workshops, geared for the beginner and/or geared for the experienced stamper. I have hostesses who prefer I demonstrate and her guests make one thing to take home and brag about. I have other hostesses who prefer to host Mini Stamp Camps, where her guests pay a minimal fee to cover the cost of the materials, but whom walk away with six finished projects. The choice is up to the hostess...

My studio silence on the blog lately has meant that I've been busy clearing out and purging. We started in the bedrooms and have been working our way downward. My time in the studio has been exhausting, but exhilarating. I love the affirmation and accomplishment I feel when a space is cleaned out and ready to enjoy. I'm always embarrassed that it had reached the sad state from which I brought it, though!

I leave you with a picture of my latest project: inventory. I wait until Sale-A-Bration to fill up my paper, ink, refill and embellishment supplies. I save my pennies every year to take advantage of the benefits that come with placing a Sale-A-Bration (SAB) order. Any $50 merchandise order qualifies -- no workshop required!
This year, there are four stamp sets, a Designer Series Paper and Quick Accents Pack, a Ribbon & Button Pack, a disc of digital media for My Digital Studio, a Decor Element, plus a slew (sp?) of stamps from the 2010-2011 Idea Book and Catalog (listed on the inside back cover of the SAB Mini). You can choose one for FREE with each $50 merchandise purchase. Do you see now why I wait to restock until Sale-A-Bration?!
Contact me if you'd like a copy of this fabulous tool for tracking your supplies. Great for restocking purposes as well as planning for big projects...

Studio Status

While I'm not one for New Year's Resolutions (mine this year was to not have any), I do enjoy clearing out closets, toy bins, craft supplies (!), etc, to make room for the new treasures we received for Christmas. Around here, 'tis the time to purge!

The Studio looks like a winter wind whipped through it (all night long, I might add). I've been busy clearing out, making an inventory (Sale-A-Bration starts on the 25th and I want my freebies!), and reorganizing. I made a ton of Christmas cards and quite a few gifts for friends and my kids' teachers, so the Studio needs some TLC.

As such, not a lot of creating is happening in there right now. The blog-worthy news is that I've got some good organizational info to share (I *LOVE* to read organizing blogs, books and magazines). For the rest of the month, as I clear up in there, I'll be sharing some of my favorite organizational gems in here.

Whew! Done!

Happy New Year and a NEW LOOK!

Whew! I don't have the new My Digital Studio (MDS) downloads well, downloaded, yet. Instead, I used the Winter Post snowflake which I love so much. I used a card I'd made before Christmas (I gave packets of them to friends and the kids' teachers). November may be the season of Thanksgiving, but January is the season of "Thank You!"

I used Baja Breeze, Elegant Eggplant and Rose Red. The card was made with Serene Snowflakes (I'll do a separate Stamp Set Spotlight for that one soon).

Oh, and I nearly forgot! A new MINI greets us now! It's the Occasions Mini! Check the link on the right and enjoy; there are some fun new things in there! Also, be on the look-out for Sale-a-Bration info! Email me with your snail mail specifics and I'll send a copy of each to you (unless, of course, you've got yourself a demonstrator already, in which case, I'd advise you to ask her/him).

Thanks for the visit!

Outdated Banner...

Ugh! I am behind in my to-do list already (and here it is, only January 3!)... I'm working on a new set of banner and buttons for the blog to replace these Christmas ones. I've got some new downloads from My Digital Studio and I'm excited to share them with you. Check back tomorrow -- hopefully, my site will have an updated look!

Oh, and HAPPY 2011!
